Professor Thomas Borody, MD, PhD, DSc

Co-Founder, Medical Director

Professor Borody is most famous for his ground-breaking work developing the triple therapy cure for peptic ulcers in 1987, which has saved hundreds of thousands of lives, and the Australian health system more than $10 billion in medical care and operations.


Professor Borody founded the Centre for Digestive Diseases (CDD) in 1984 after a distinguished career with leading hospitals including St Vincent’s in Sydney and the Mayo Clinic in the USA.


He is a world-renowned leader in the clinical microbiota dating back to 1988 when he started performing what is now called Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT).


Professor Borody holds over 150 patents in areas such as; treatment of Helicobacter pylori, Crohn’s disease, bowel lavage, IBS and FMT.

Sabine Hazan, MD

Co-Founder, Medical Director


As a specialist in gastroenterology, internal medicine, and hepatology, Dr. Hazan has used her expertise in many regards over the last two decades. Dr. Hazan is  the Founder & CEO of Progenabiome, a genetic sequencing research laboratory, the Malibu Specialty Center, and Ventura Clinical Trials, where she conducts and oversees clinical trials for cutting-edge research on various medical issues. 


Dr. Hazan is a top clinical investigator for multiple pharmaceutical companies, and also acts as the series editor of Practical Gastroenterology on the microbiome, a peer review journal that reaches 18,000 gastroenterologists. She was and is a speaker for World Congress of Digestive Disease, MAGI, Microbiome Congress, International Drug Discovery Science and Technology Conference and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

Alon Steinberg

Medical Director


Dr. Alon Steinberg is an acclaimed cardiologist in Ventura, CA. He is the active Division Chief of Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, works with Cardiology Associates Medical Group as a lead doctor, and was the Co-Founder of Ventura Clinical Trials. Dr. Steinberg is board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT. He also served as the key medical expert to testify in the Conrad Murray / Michael Jackson trial in 2011. 

Siba Dolai, M. Biotech, M. Com (Bus), PhD

Chief Scientific Officer


Experienced Senior Research & Development Scientist with a demonstrated history of developing biotechnology innovations for medical research institutes and commercial labs. Skilled in research commercialisation, drug development, drug discovery, big data analysis, diagnostic kits and pipeline development using advanced Real time PCR, Next Gen sequencing and Proteomics technologies. Strong background in project management and project development in research and commercial life sciences industry. Knowledge and experience in quality management systems, pharmaceutical regulatory pathways, Biosecurity Approved Arrangements, method verification, validation and audit processes.

Anoja Gunaratne, BAMS (Hons), MSc, PhD

Clinical Research


Anoja Gunaratne is a senior researcher in the Centre for Digestive Diseases in Sydney. Her research interests and expertise are in the areas of clinical research. She has skills and experience coordinating and managing every aspect of clinical trials from start-up to closeout. She has strong experience in project design, development and management. Her program of research included multidisciplinary approaches to address clinical questions via clinical interventions and meta-analysis. Her expertise is also in day-to-day operational responsibilities including critical research support in clinical trials. She has the knowledge and capability to monitor, manage and analyze data and determine results.

Ray De La Garza

Project Manager


Ray is a former C-suite executive at iHeartMedia, Quetzal/JP Morgan, Universal Music Group, The Walt Disney Company and Business Rockstars in the rolls of VP, Sr. VP, General Manager and COO positions. Specialist in entrepreneurship, business development and operation strategies.

Daniel M. Cislo, Esq.

Legal Representation


Daniel Cislo is the managing partner of Cislo & Thomas and has been a practicing intellectual property for over 30 years, specializing in patent, copyright, trademark clearance, filing, licensing and litigation matters for a wide variety of complex technologies.

Peter McCullough

Dr. McCullough has been a leader in the pandemic response to the COVID-19 disaster and has published the first guidance for the medical treatment of ambulatory patients. Finally, he has published a widely read OPED series on COVID-19 in TheHill. His opinions are his own and not necessarily those of his institutions.

Jay Sanchez

Jay Sanchez is a graduate of Harvard College, Class of '89 and Harvard Law School, Class of '92, and is an attorney in New York.  He is the Libertarian Candidate for election to New York's Fifth Congressional District.

Ira Kalfus, MD, CMO

Dr. Ira Kalfus was the CMO at Thar Pharmaceuticals until its acquisition by Grunenthal in 2016 and was previously VP of Medical Affairs at Lev Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Kalfus completed his residency in Internal Medicine at LIJ and is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (M.D.) and Columbia University (B.A. in Biology).

Brian Schreiber, MD

Dr. Brian Schreiber is a Board Certified Nephrologist with extensive industry experience in medical affairs and assessing new product opportunities, specializing in rare diseases. Previously, Dr. Schreiber served as Vice President of Medical Development at Relypsa Pharmaceuticals and spent 14 years with Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals as the head of its Medical Affairs department. Prior to joining Sigma-Tau, Dr. Schreiber served as Chief Medical Director of Dialysis Care Inc., a multi-center dialysis chain providing services in northeast and central Wisconsin and continues to remain active in this capacity. He was also Chairman of Nephrology at LaSalle Clinic, Affinity Medical System for five years prior to establishing Fox Valley Nephrology as a joint venture between Affinity Medical Group and Thedacare Health systems. He served as its first president until 2001. During this time, Dr. Schreiber served as a medical consultant to Sigma-Tau. Dr. Schreiber has continued his activities in academia, having been appointed as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.


He has published a variety of academic papers including original research, review articles, and a textbook chapter on inflammation and renal disease and has given numerous lectures and symposia in academic settings.
